Up early again and back to Lincoln Center for 2 shows this morning. Lots of leather & fur at the Norisol Ferrari presentation (this was a reoccurring theme all week) & color, color, color at JCrew.

Fashion Week Journal – Day 1

3 shows back-to-back. Biggest decision of the day is whether to watch the Fall fashion or the ‘fashionable’ watching the fashion. Between the intricate beading found on the runway of Jenny Packham, the oversized cable knits and gauchos of Rachel Roy, discovering the Fashion Week debut of Negarin and the well executed looks of those attending all — the morning was off to a great start.

We’re hitting the streets (and the shows) of New York Fashion Week Fall 2012 to bring you all the eye-popping style we found and fell for. Inside the tents, the neighborhood shopping and the restaurants — we’re doing it all. Stay tuned for our trip journal following Lucky through the city so great, they named it twice!

Bright colors, layered textures, bold accessories, amazing cuffs and elevated menswear — we’re seeing it all on and off the runway. Take a look at what we’ve seen so far on the streets of NYC.

What’s in Your Bag? Tahoe

Ah . . . Tahoe! My home away from home! I think Lake Tahoe should be the 8th wonder of the world!

All year round, no other place quite captures my heart the same way. There’s nothing like the feel of that crisp air awakening my creative juices as I watch the first blanket of fresh powder fall over the winter. So, I packed a bag and headed inland for some R&R over the new year with my go-to essentials.
