February Playlist

On Sunday Feb 10^th,  I was on a 3:00 VA flight from SFO to JFK to take in a few days of Fashion Week . . .  and what a great flight! I watched the Grammys. Amazing, Amazing performances. Fun sang my new favorite song, Alicia Keys killed it with Adam Levine, JT was awesome, and Mumford . . . Ridiculous! I could go on and on . . . Best Grammys ever? . . . maybe.

Anyway, all of the music inspiration led me to starting my February playlist . . . here you go, lmk what you think!

On February 1^st one of my dreams came true, I got to meet Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers . . .

Nicki’s been on my “list” for awhile. In fact, when their Vans Sessions video covering the Hall & Oates classic ‘I Can’t Go For That’ hit the internet I thought . . . who is this cool girl, with the cool glasses, with the cool band . . . in a van? I’m going to meet her — but really, I want to BE her . . .  except I can’t sing!

January Playlist

After doing these playlists for awhile, it’s safe to say that my taste in music is all over the place. I like almost everything . . . lots of the classics are always in rotation, some current stuff playing on the radio and a lot of the other songs come from my kids (inspired by high school & snowboard movies) – it’s all good! There is no theme . . . just cool songs to sing along to — Happy January.

Behind the Scenes in Santa Fe: Lucky Brand Spring 2013

Spend a day on set with us in New Mexico . . .

Each morning we drove an hour to our location at Ghost Ranch . . . a beautiful stretch of desert with magical energy. The skies were the bluest blue, the desert a subtle red and the light . . . Amazing!
