Blue Tonal Style

Color-blocking took us through fall and spring as a seasonal must . . . but once you find your favorite hue, who’s to say you need to stray away?

Find your favorite color and stick to it with tonal dressing. Summer is full of red, white and blue so I’ve gathered up some of my favorite silhouettes that show you how to stick to what’s true – for you.

Lucky Post Divide

Blue is our lucky color & Summer is our favorite time of the year to wear it! Dress up your denim with a blue that bounces off the best of its wash. There’s nothing like tacking a warm summer day with your most beloved worn and torn pair of pants.  If you’ve got the denim blues like we do, don’t be afraid to mix ‘n match your jeans with a tiny print to transform your go-to summer garb into a standout look.

White Tonal Style

It’s crystal clear that natural is the way to go this summer. Show off your hard-earned tan with contrasting bright whites. Bring a little brown into the mix for a borderline bohemian vibe.

Ivory & Bright White: Riley Cut Off Shorts, $69.50; Macey Metallic Sweater, $99; Left Coast Small Crossbody, $128

Red Tonal Style

Reds need little reinforcement in order to pop. Bright and vibrant by definition, it’s a color that guarantees a great entrance. The secret ingredient to tonal bliss with this loud color is to balance it’s overbearing nature with a tiny touch of turq.

Tiny touch of Turq: Charlie Super Skinny, $99; Adella Embroidered Yoke Top, $59.50; Covela Sandals, $69; Necklaces available at your local Lucky store; Vintage Lucky Brand Belt
