Shopping: Sayulita

-
For many years, the only things you could buy in Sayulita were beer, Chiclets gum and some pretty darn good Mexican meals served out of a thatched roof shack on the beach. I remember taking day trips to Puerto Vallarta with my mom to find a regalo (present) for a friend . . . or a souvenir to take home.

Well those days are over (and to be honest I kind of miss them) . . . but what’s happening here now, most savvy shoppers would appreciate! There are great restaurants, galleries and small boutiques that rival those of many cool cities worldwide . . .
-

-
There’s just enough to keep you happy . . . but not interfere with the important things — sun, surf and relaxation.
-

-
You can spend your time on the beach & find all kinds of treasures . . . and if you buy – you will have a new amigo for life (who will remember you year after year). Or you can wander the cobblestone streets & find amazing jewelry, artwork and of course the best street tacos ever.

-
Just one trip to Sayulita and you will want more of everything this magical place has to offer . . . and hopefully you will go home with lots of treasured gifts and experiences from this small village by the sea.

I love Sayulita and stay at my parents house near there a couple times a year. I am still dying to buy the beautiful embroidered dress at Pachamama.
Looks good! I’m going to visit mexico this summer (also check: http://contentable.wordpress.com/2013/03/22/mexico-belize-travel-update/)
I love this post – we spent a week in Sayulita last year and completely fell in love. Thank you for these beautiful pics & tips – can’t wait to go back!
