DIY: Cutting Board

This is the easiest project ever. So great to use during the holiday season & so great to give to any entertainer on your list . . .

I used Walnut and had my local lumber yard cut a plank into four 18″ sections. I then taped off everything I didn’t want to paint . . . the possibilities are endless so get creative — I opted for a 2″ chalkboard stripe across the bottom edge. I used chalkboard spray paint . . . so simple and not messy at all.

Once the paint has dried . . . remove the tape, sand any rough edges & oil the natural wood area with mineral oil. DONE. Grab some chalk & you are officially ready to entertain!
