In My Bag – Refuge Cove, BC

-
This isn’t your average vacation There is a weight limit Luckily it’s not for me — it’s for my bag . . . 24 pounds! -I’m traveling to Canada — Refuge Cove to be exact, a 2 1/2 hour seaplane ride from Seattle’s Lake Union. It’s a place my family goes every August to get away from everything (except the most beautiful scenery you have ever seen).
There is a general store on the island (a two minute boat ride around the point) . . . it’s no Whole Foods so half of the 24lb limit is dedicated to snacks & cocktail mixings! Outfits have to be flexible and easily layered for cool nights and mornings — and as always, denim is a staple! Here is my Refuge Cove wardrobe necessities checklist . . .
-
Jeans – Sienna Tomboy
Shorts – Legend High Waisted
Chambray Shirt
Beanie, Bikini, Moccasins & Ray Bans
Suede Bomber Jacket
Two rules for packing . . . Keep it simple and be sure you can mix & match!
