US Open of Surfing

The US Open of Surfing took place in our own backyard last week . . . Huntington Beach was the place to be if you love Surf, Sun and Sand.
Sun-kissed crowds turned out each day to watch the action from the beach. Surf legend Kelly Slater was a crowd pleaser as usual and made it to the Semi-Finals. The 1st place position went to Aussie Julian Wilson who seems to be the young one to watch (and a favorite of every girl on the beach). The women’s title went to Lakey Peterson, a Santa Barbara native who is just 18 yrs old.
